PS-18 Metallic Purple spray paint has been specially developed for decorating RC car bodies made of polycarbonate (Lexan). It provides an elegant and durable metallic finish that is perfectly suited to the demands of radio-controlled modeling.
Unlike conventional paints for plastic models, Tamiya PS paints are applied to the inside of the body. This method protects the color from scratches and splashes, while ensuring excellent durability over time.
When applying, it is recommended to hold the spray can about 1.2 feet from the surface. After drying, a second coat can be applied if necessary to intensify the color and achieve a perfectly even finish.
Once dry, the paint is resistant to oil and fuel, making it fully compatible with thermal and electric RC cars. It retains its shine even under demanding conditions.
