The steps for processing your return request

1/ “You” step

You send us your request by email via our contact form.

2/ “RC Team” stage

  • RC Team (our Customer Service) processes your support request.
  • If your request is validated, you will receive a confirmation email telling you what to do: shipping details, return number and documents to attach…
  • Shipping of the product concerned by the request is the responsibility of the customer.
  • To facilitate tracking of your request, send us the tracking number of your package.

3/ “Supplier” step

  • Our supplier: processes your warranty request and decides on it: replacement, repair, repair on estimate, refund, no further action.
  • In the case of a repair based on an estimate, you will obviously be consulted for its acceptance.
  • We follow up with our suppliers several times a week on each current request.
  • We will immediately send you any new progress information on your current request.
  • There is no need to contact the supplier directly to be informed of your current request, your only contact is RC Team.

4/ “RC Team” stage

RC Team receives from the supplier the result of the follow-up given to your request.

5/ “You” step

We will relay to you the response given by the supplier to your warranty request.
In the case of a product reshipment to you, it will be at our expense.

How to make a standard return?

1/ I prepare my package

  • I ensure that each product is new (no trace of use), complete and in its original packaging;
  • I check that the packaging and cushioning perfectly protect the products so that they arrive in good condition;
  • I print the invoice for my order (available in your customer account) and slip it into my package.
  • I note on the invoice or a piece of paper if I would like a credit (voucher valid for 1 year) or a refund.

2/ I send my return

Please provide sufficient postage for your returns. Otherwise, we will be obliged to refuse them.

3/ RC Team processes my return

  • We receive your package, process your return and inform you of the action we take on your request.
  • If your return is compliant, the credit (voucher valid for 1 year) or the refund will be made as soon as possible.

Important :

  • You have 30 days from the date of receipt to return the product(s) to us.
  • Return costs are your responsibility.
  • You are responsible for the packaging and delivery of this return package.
  • Any returned product that does not meet the criteria set out here will be automatically sent back to you.
  • Gift cards are not refundable.

Was there an error in your order?

  1. Send via our contact form photographs of the product concerned highlighting the problem observed, as well as of the package received.
  2. Describe the condition of this package: was it damaged, opened or taped by the carrier?
  3. Also send us any reference (bar code, supplier number) found on this product or its packaging.

How does the warranty work?

1/ Duration of the guarantee

Our products are usually guaranteed for at least 1 year except:

  • Replacement of consumables, wearing parts: Tires, launchers, transmission parts (crown gear, pinions, universal joints) etc...
  • Poor product maintenance (poor lubrication, corrosion, exposure to water from non-waterproof products, dirty product).
  • Damage which is specifically mentioned in the product sheets.
  • Defects and their consequences due to the intervention of the buyer or a repairer (dismantling electric or thermal motor, variator, remote control, charger, etc.).
  • The consequences linked to the non-compliant use for which the product is intended (professional, collective use, etc.).
  • For batteries and drives, any modification of the connectors may void the warranty with certain manufacturers (Traxxas, HPI, Losi etc...).
  • For LiPo, LiOn, LiFe batteries, any misuse voids the warranty (excessive discharge, incorrect charging, storage rules not respected, etc.)

2/ Request for warranty

Tell us by email, via our contact form , the problem you are experiencing as well as the circumstances in which it occurred.
All the elements that most precisely illustrate your problem are useful: precise description, photos, video, etc.

Right to retract

The Buyer's withdrawal period is extended by www.rcteam.com to 30 days.

The products must be returned to www.rcteam.com in perfect resalable condition, in their original condition, with no trace of use and accompanied by the invoice or contact details of the Buyer and complete references of the order.

Batteries that have already been charged, vehicles that have been used (even 5 minutes) cannot be returned.

Likewise, if the product includes a warranty sheet or any other document to be completed, this must not be completed so that the Buyer can exercise his right of withdrawal.

Digital products such as flight simulators cannot be returned if they have been used.

Any product that is incomplete, damaged, damaged or whose original packaging has been damaged in such a way that the normal marketing of the product would be affected will not be refunded.

Responsibility

The products offered by www.rcteam.com comply with current French legislation.
