The MAMBA MONSTER X 8S uses Castle's revolutionary CRYO-DRIVE technology. By reducing the rate at which the variator heats up and dissipating heat more efficiently, your setup will be able to handle higher gear ratios, in heavier vehicles, with longer throws. These technological advancements come with a unique vented housing design that provides increased airflow to cool electrical components. With the integration of a 40mm cooling fan and a high-performance heatsink, the drive/motor combo maximizes system cooling , taking its thermal performance to a whole new level.

It is built around a robust aluminum housing which guarantees protection of the electronics and ensures use in all weathers. Additional tuning flexibility awaits you with on-the-fly adjustments from your transmitter via the auxiliary wire. Simply connect the white signal wire to an open radio channel, and activate the function in Castle Link by selecting the one you wish to use. Access programming settings such as Torque Control, Maximum Braking or Rock Race Mode. Optimize your vehicle for any type of racing or bashing you can imagine!
SmartSense mode uses engine sensors to provide smooth starts, excellent torque and low-speed maneuverability. Once the motor is running, it seamlessly switches to Castle's ultra-efficient sensorless mode.
