Extreme ruggedness and an outrageous speed of over 50 mph separate the Short Course Senton 4x4 BLX from the rest of the pack in 1/10 scale. Precision aluminum, tough steel and composite materials combine to form an easy-to-maintain and super-durable vehicle, which has been enhanced to further increase the already impressive performance and durability of the original Short Course Senton.
The Senton 4X4 3S BLX RTR is built to be fast and strong , with top speeds and extreme durability on any terrain. Among the new improvements are a stronger chassis, a new steering system with more space to avoid getting stones stuck, a new slipper, as well as flanged ball bearings.
It also includes a Spektrum SLT3 transmitter and an SLR300 receiver . The ergonomics of the radio have been designed to allow long periods of use without tiring: a foam steering wheel for precise control with your fingertips, better grip and a more pleasant trigger to use.
Beginner bashers will be able to throttle the car at 50% or 75% until they are ready to use the Senton's full speed potential. The SLT3 is compatible with Tactic SLT receivers to operate other RTR vehicles you may own, and includes a third channel to control optional functions such as lights and winches (not included in the pack).
ARRMA now equips the Senton 4X4 3S BLX with a brushless system equipped with a BLX100 variator and a 3200Kv Spektrum Firma motor . This combination delivers incredible torque, acceleration and speed. The transmission and chassis are robustly designed to take full advantage of the power of the electronics.
The ingenious modular design developed by ARRMA engineers facilitates access to components and their maintenance. Thus, the power module consisting of the motor can be detached from the chassis by removing a single screw. Once the power module is removed, the slipper can be easily accessed for adjustments.
The electronic module is made up of the waterproof housing of the receiver, the servo and the variator. The SLR300 receiver mounts inside the case which protects it from dirt and moisture. The ultra-compact drive is screwed onto the top of the module, providing quick access to the on/off switch, while the servo mounts on the side. All three components can be removed together, quickly and easily.
The differential module houses each differential unit. The Senton 4X4 3S BLX RTR comes with 37T modulus 1.35 differentials with silicone O-rings. The large gears can withstand enormous torque, and the internal metal gears were chosen for their reliability under extreme shocks.
Its 4x4 drivetrain uses strong front, rear and center telescopic driveshafts that cannot be lost during hard impacts. A simple, reliable and responsive steering assembly features a servo horn with integrated energy saver. The Seton 4X4 3S BLX RTR features the Spektrum SPMS651 waterproof servo with metal gears for 15% more torque than the previous version's ADS-7M servo.
Hydraulic shock absorbers use a proven design for simple maintenance and easy handling. Their stem has a molded spring for greater robustness. High-height dirt deflectors and tight-fitting bodywork limit the amount of dirt and debris that can enter the chassis. Front and rear bumpers provide impact defense .
Robust rims with Fortress dBoots give effective traction on almost any terrain. The Senton truck body (available in blue/black or red/black) looks great in motion and up close.
