The different types of RC cars
There are many different types of radio-controlled cars. Some models are full-size replicas, while others have eccentric designs born from the boundless imagination of RC enthusiasts. These models can be divided into two main categories: Off-Road, i.e. all-terrain cars (Monster Truck, Buggy, etc.) and On-Road vehicles that man operate on roads (Formula 1, drift cars, short course). We will review most car models to help you identify the vehicle that suits you best.
On-road radio-controlled cars
Touring cars
Touring cars, or Touring Car, are often miniatures of full-size models. Versatile, easy to handle, and relatively fast, these models are perfectly suited for beginners.

Formula 1
cars Formula 1 cars are, like their full-size counterparts, extremely fast racing cars. They are very responsive models that are suitable for drivers looking for thrills on the track.

Cars from drift
Equipped with low-grip tires and special equipment, drift cars are a slightly different type of vehicle. drift enthusiasts will be delighted to be able to drift these cars around corners.

Off-road radio-controlled cars
Buggies
Buggies are the classic choice for off-road vehicles. Fast and very light, they are perfectly suited to rough terrain. However, due to their low ground clearance, their crossing ability is much more limited than a Monster Truck and they will not necessarily be able to overcome large obstacles. Buggies are also very versatile: equipped with road tires and with lowered ground clearance, they can be converted into on-road vehicles.

Stadium Truck
Taller and wider than Buggies, Stadium Truck can drive on even more difficult terrain. They are equipped with longer suspension arms and offer improved stability.

Truggies
Truggies are very similar to Stadium Truck. The main difference is that Truggies have four drive wheels for better traction on rough terrain.

Monster Truck
Like their full-size counterparts, Monster Truck are huge machines mounted on giant wheels. Much slower than the vehicles presented above, they are nevertheless perfect for overcoming obstacles with class and elegance.

The Short Course
The Short Course have large wheels but are much heavier and narrower than other off-road vehicles. They are hybrid vehicles that can handle difficult terrain as well as race tracks.

Crawlers
With a high chassis, solid suspension, monster wheels, and a high-torque engine, Crawlers are the most suitable vehicles for difficult terrain. Their off-road capabilities are incredible
