For the 2026 season, we put the most versatile model in this series to the test: the formidable Arrma Quake Grom 4x4.

A tubular chassis built to withstand impacts
From the moment you first pick it up, the Arrma Quake Grom 4x4 impresses with its solid build. Its high-strength composite chassis is directly inspired by the tubular design of real American Monster trucks. This structure offers exemplary rigidity while maintaining great flexibility to absorb hard landings from jumps.
To transfer power to the ground in all conditions, Arrma opted for reliability with a 4WD drivetrain (4WD) equipped with metal gears. This is the essential mechanical feature for ensuring perfect traction on both dirt and asphalt, without risking damage to the gear train upon the first impact.
Performance and Hydraulic Suspension
Beneath its aggressive-looking body, the vehicle is powered by a brushed MEGA 380-sized engine. This engine propels the Monster Truck to a top speed of over 30 km/h, delivering sharp acceleration while remaining very smooth at low RPMs. Steering is handled by a waterproof and responsive Spektrum servo.
As for the suspension, the independent suspension system features four fully adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers. They absorb uneven terrain with remarkable ease and allow you to adjust the ground clearance depending on the riding surface. With its large wheels and aggressive tires, the Quake Grom clears obstacles with surprising ease for its size.
Ready to ride (RTR) and easy for everyone to use
As always with Arrma, ease of use is at the heart of the design. The Quake Grom comes 100% complete and ready to ride right out of the box:
- Clip-free body: A quick-release system allows you to remove the body in a second for easy access to the mechanical components and battery.
- Electronics Spektrum Smart: The package includes a 2S LiPo battery Smart that can be quickly recharged using the included compact USB-C Spektrum G2 charger.
- Upgradable radio control: The Spektrum SLT2 transmitter features a switch that allows you to limit power to 50%, 75%, or 100%. This feature is ideal for letting children or beginners practice safely.
