The TQi radio has been designed to achieve a pleasant and natural feel in the hand with a wide grip area and a molded thumb rest for total comfort, even during long driving sessions. The wide throttle trigger and foam steering wheel ensure comfortable and precise control.
The TQi 2.4 GHz transmitter emits a strong, clear signal for optimal range. The 13ms frame rate and near-zero latency enable instant steering and throttle response with precise, smooth control. The TQi is equipped with an internal antenna , which avoids installing an external device that could become detached and obstruct the field of vision.
All advanced functions of the TQi 2.4GHz radio system are selected and adjusted using a simple 2-button interface. The MENU and SET are all you need to navigate through the functions you want to adjust, and the status LED confirms each selection. Traxxas offers experienced drivers great adjustment flexibility , without compromising the ease of use necessary for beginner use.
The multifunction button is the key to tuning the transmitter. Using the MENU and SET buttons or the Traxxas Link app, a wide variety of settings can be assigned to the Multifunction button for easier, on-the-fly adjustment. The multifunction button can also be locked to prevent unwanted changes to settings.
Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) lets you experience all the extreme power, speed and acceleration of your Traxxas model by making it significantly easier to control the vehicle on slippery surfaces like dirt, concrete and even ice and snow. Simply accelerate and the TSM goes to work, detecting the vehicle's direction and making course corrections to provide full-throttle acceleration without spinning or losing control. TSM also works in corners, making corrections to maintain its trajectory and allowing you to floor the throttle earlier in the corner to achieve much faster exit speeds . Braking is significantly improved as the TSM system keeps you on course until you come to a complete stop.

TQi radios can be equipped with the Traxxas Link Bluetooth Wireless module ( sold separately here ) which turns your Android or Apple smartphone into a powerful tuning tool for your Traxxas model. The Traxxas Link app offers an intuitive color user interface that makes accessible the mysteries of optimizing your radio system for ultimate vehicle control.
TQi makes it easy to manage telemetry using the Traxxas Link Bluetooth Wireless module (optional) and the Traxxas Link app. The included 5-channel receiver has ports for voltage/temperature and RPM sensors. Simply install sensors (optional) on your Traxxas model and you are ready to go! The Traxxas Link app automatically detects sensors installed in the receiver.
