The Traxxas Velineon VXL-8S XRT 3496T Brushless Variator is identical to that of the Designed to power the powerful Big Block motor, this drive delivers incredible torque and power, ideal for high-performance RC vehicles.
The VXL-8S features patented Traxxas high-current connectors that deliver power ultra-efficiently. Gold-plated 6.5mm connectors provide direct power to the motor. An integrated fan cools the heatsink to maintain optimal temperatures and extend the life of the drive. Bright status LEDs provide clear alerts on temperature and voltage. Internal programming constantly monitors performance to prevent damage.
The VXL-8S supports real-time telemetry with the optional 6511 wireless module ( sold separately ). Use the free Traxxas Link app to download telemetry updates and receive data such as speed, engine rpm, voltage and drive temperature directly to your mobile device, without additional sensors.
Ease of use is at the heart of the VXL-8S thanks to One Button EZ-Set® technology. Training mode limits power to 50% for beginners, while two-stage thermal protection and low voltage detection keep LiPo batteries safe. Three driving profiles are programmable: Sport mode , Race mode and Training mode .
