The Toyota Celica GT-Four RC, designed for the World Rally Championship, sold 5,000 units in 1992 . Equipped with an elegant and robust body, it featured a 2.5-liter turbo engine offering 235 horsepower. Thanks to efficient all-wheel drive and a Torsen differential, it provided excellent traction. In 1993, the Celica GT-Four ( ST185 ) took the world manufacturers' and drivers' titles , marking a first for Toyota.
The 4-wheel drive chassis is arranged with the battery on the left and the engine on the right, to give excellent stability to the car. Additionally, it features identical left and right suspension arms for easy assembly , as well as an easy-to-maintain gearbox. It is a very adaptable chassis , as it offers 2 different wheelbases, 2 ground clearance settings and 2 tread settings.
