This is a replica of the Zakspeed Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 Evo 2 team car, sponsored by Diebels-Alt in 1992, which competed in the DTM racing series in Germany. Tamiya has faithfully reproduced this elegant racing car in 1/10 scale on the entry-level TT-01 Type E chassis.
The TT-01 E chassis
The TT-01 Type E chassis positions the motor and battery closer to the ground to achieve a lower center of gravity and optimal balance. It has a 4-wheel drive by universal joints , a 4-wheel double wishbone suspension system and front and rear differentials.
