Presentation of the Tamiya Astute 2022
The new TD2 chassis is based on the TD4 chassis. Just like this one, it offers an exceptionally slim and low profile thanks to a particular front suspension layout. It features amazing performance in terms of grip and stability, along with CVA hydraulic shock absorbers that provide smooth suspension movement.
Furthermore, the chassis is based on a monocoque frame constructed from one piece. It is equipped with a slipper system , and ball bearings throughout the driveline. The battery pack is positioned transversely and placed at the rear. Finally, the transverse arrangement of the engine in the middle of the boat and the three sprockets that connect it to the driveline ensure optimal balance and better performance.
