The 2CV is a true legend in the automotive world and Citroën has marketed several versions during the 40 years it has been on the market. She was not only popular with enthusiasts but also with professional drivers and she competed in different categories of motor racing, especially rallying.
Tamiya has decided to take on this legend by offering a kit to assemble recreating the 2CV rally in a light and resistant polycarbonate. Separately cast parts are included to represent the fog lights, bumper, roof ladder and more. Decals are supplied in the kit to give your rally car a winning look as well as sponsor logos and markings.
Based on the M-05 with a front-wheel drive drivetrain, the M-05RA chassis features a lightweight, narrow, durable and easy-to-assemble unibody structure. It is equipped with specially designed steering knuckles to increase ground clearance by 5 mm. Front bumper, side guards and rally tires are also included so you can enjoy driving on gravel and asphalt.
