The Tamiya PS-16 Metallic Blue was developed by Tamiya to meet the specific requirements of polycarbonate RC car bodies. It provides a smooth, shiny and durable metallic finish that is perfectly suited to radio-controlled model cars.
Tamiya PS paints are applied to the inside of the bodywork, unlike paints intended for traditional plastic models. This technique protects the color from scratches, splashes, and wear and tear caused by driving.
When applying, it is recommended to hold the spray can about 1.2 inches from the interior surface of the bodywork. After drying, an additional coat can be applied if necessary to intensify the color and achieve a perfectly even finish.
Once dry, PS-16 paint is resistant to oil and fuels. It can therefore be used safely on both electric and combustion engine RC cars without any risk of color alteration.
