Tamiya offers many DIY car kits aimed at expert modelers. With the X-SA (Expert-Semi-Assembled) model series, the brand wants to make its RC models accessible to pilots who do not have the time or experience necessary to assemble cars.
Each X-SA kit includes a fully assembled chassis configured with the TEU-105BK ESC , as well as a fully painted and decaled body . All you need to do is provide the RC equipment and battery pack, install them and you are ready to drive.
The kit comes with a Grasshopper body (2005) already painted and decorated, a simple, but robust 2-wheel drive chassis capable of absorbing the roughness of rough terrain. It is equipped with a sealed gearbox with a differential for smooth driving and cornering. Handling is provided by tread tires at the rear and grooved tires at the front. The suspension is independent at the front and stiff at the rear and damped by coil spring shock absorbers.
