The GF-02 chassis features a low-mid position motor that transmits power to the front and rear via gears. The long wheelbase (same as the CC-02) and wide track guarantee stable off-road performance. The chassis integrates the differentials under a sealed housing. The front and rear differentials allow smooth operation even when cornering, and you can choose between three different transmission ratios. The kit includes an 18 tooth motor sprocket (ratio 18.03/1). 20-tooth (16.23/1 ratio) and 17-tooth (19.09/1 ratio) sprockets are available separately. The four-wheel independent, double wishbone suspension is combined with four friction dampers, and the steering servo is placed on the left with identical length linkages.
The GF-02 chassis differs from the GF-01 by:
- A longer wheelbase (267mm instead of 174mm)
- A wider track (front 223mm, rear 221mm instead of 194mm)
- Blackfoot type tires 123mm in diameter instead of 111mm
- Three transmission ratios (18.03/1, 16.23/1 and 19.09/1) possible instead of two
- Engine position 3mm lower and 1.5mm closer to the vehicle's longitudinal axis
- Lower servo mount position - Same body stud positions as on CC-02.
