You'll never have to set charging preferences for a Spektrum Smart battery unless you want to. When a Spektrum Smart battery is connected to a Spektrum Smart charger, the battery settings and health are automatically downloaded. Through the charger you can view and set preferences. Simply press the "Start" button on the charger to recharge your battery , Smart technology takes care of the rest.
