With Smart G2 technology, the charger automatically recognizes the characteristics of each Smart battery and configures it automatically. The Smart batteries feature a new connector and an electronic chip that allow the charger to identify them, thereby minimizing the risk of misconfiguring the charger or operating it incorrectly. Balance charging via the data wire of the IC3® or IC5® connector is done with a single connection; therefore, no separate balance wires are required.
This LiPo battery features a new IC3 connector that integrates the balancing port. You can configure the battery to automatically discharge in storage mode, which significantly extends the lifespan of your batteries.
