🔧 Installation Tips

The MXLR front mount attaches to the front bumper plate of the Awesomatix A800R/RR.

1. Choose the adjustment screw: select a 6- or 8-mm-long M4 set screw, depending on the body height.
2. Prepare the bracket: Screw the M4 grub screw into the upper hole of the front bracket before installation. During the first installation, the screw will cut its own thread in the PA12 nylon and may require additional force.
3. Install the bracket: Remove the two screws connecting the front bumper plate to the subframes, then position the MXLR bracket.
4. Use the correct screws: Replace the original SB3X6 screws with SB3X8 or SB3X10 screws, depending on the installation. These screws are not included.
5. Adjust the height: Adjust the grub screw so that it touches the hood, with no additional play, when the body rests normally on its supports.

💡 Tip: The mount should support the body without exerting excessive pressure on it. Proper adjustment helps minimize deformation while preserving the chassis’s natural handling characteristics.
