Mugen Seiki spent a lot of time testing and developing the geometry of the MBX8R in real racing conditions throughout 2021, which led to many major international victories.
The MBX8R has many new parts to increase rear stability and traction, improve jumps, and offer a wide range of settings.
The MBX8R is built for competition with all its technical innovations and original equipment. All you have to do is drive and win!
- The front and rear shock mounts are new with new inserts to find the optimum setting.
- The aluminum spacers for the C and D control arms at the rear are narrower so that the control arms work better.
- New rear spindles complete the new rear suspension design, as they are now adjustable.
- The chassis is still 3mm thick, made of hard-treated and milled aluminum. It has been slightly modified.
- High Traction "HT" differentials are included as standard in the kit
- The MBX8R comes standard with a new complete clutch with 4 weights of Mugen Seiki
- The steering is ball jointed, a feature inspired by On-road asphalt cars
- The front and rear cells provide quick access to the differentials for maintenance and adjustment changes.
- The new spoiler on the MBX8-R has new aerodynamic supports with new fins
- The revised rear spoiler mount will provide additional downforce and increase durability
- The MBX8-R radio plate has been optimized with an enlarged battery box to accommodate large battery packs
- The shock absorbers are now equipped with emulsion plugs (E2572) as standard
- The air filter is large diameter with special foam, combined with a new flexible elbow
- The brake caliper springs are positioned to free the brake discs from any friction
- 90-degree fuel connection at the tank outlet for more direct fuel hose routing
- Stabilizer bar clamps to reduce lateral movement of the anti-roll bar
