The narrow, spine-shaped chassis provides the platform for optimal geometry with wide steering angles and double wishbone suspension. Recreated in the image of the original design, the 4-wheel drive transmission is housed inside a waterproof compartment . Modern features include the choice of chain or belt drive, as well as big bore shock absorbers front and rear that have been recreated in the original OPTIMA colors.
