The Subaru BRZ is a rare model on the 1/10 scale RC drift scene, so it's sure to attract all eyes right out of the box! It is built on the chassis of one of HPI Racing's fan favorite cars, the RS4 Sport 3. With its four-wheel drive , waterproof electronics, 2.4 GHz radio, fully independent double wishbone suspension and adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers, you will be ready to break all records.
The car is completed with a set of new R5 rims inspired by RMK Design's R5 rims used by Dai himself, each wrapped in super-hard compound Falken Azenis RT615 T-Drift tires .
The chassis is formed from a single piece of reinforced plastic and has the powertrain tunnel molded right in the middle, just like a real car. It's a cut above any plastic tube frame car available today. One way to give the RS4 Sport 3 Drift the best possible handling was to ensure that all components were placed as low as possible in the chassis. This gives the car a surprisingly low center of gravity for optimal cornering capabilities.
The RS4 Sport 3 Drift is equipped with four-wheel drive to give you the most control and precision possible on the road or track. All four wheels are driven by powerful front and rear differentials, just like in a real car. The extra traction gives you better acceleration and cornering control for maximum confidence and enjoyment.
The powertrain on all RS4 Sport 3 Drift models features the Firebolt 15T coal-fired engine mounted longitudinally in the chassis. The entire driveline, including the center driveshaft and differentials, is fully sealed to prevent dirt, stones and debris from damaging or blocking the driveline. The driveshaft, differentials and axles rotate on ball bearings to maximize driveline efficiency.
