The Baja 5B specific narrow channel chassis made from rigid 4mm 6061 aerospace aluminum , gives the HPI Baja 5B a classic desert racing buggy look along with extreme rigidity and durability. The "U" shaped chassis is protected at the rear by a thick plastic plate for optimal protection of the engine and transmission .
The tubular roll bar is made from impact-resistant nylon and topped with a real aluminum roof to maintain the classic look. The roll bar is fully functional and protects the engine and internal components from damage caused by collisions. The roll bar, radio box, body panels, fender, wheel arch and gear case are all mounted with quick access clips for easy maintenance .
