The T-28 Trojan 1.1m quickly became a favorite among both novice and experienced pilots! It is modeled after the Trojan T-28 used by the U.S. Navy from 1952 to 1984. The model's simplicity, durability, and maneuverability make it particularly popular with novice pilots. What's more, its size allowed it to fly in large parks and fields and to be easily transported without having to be dismantled. The famous T-28 has been updated and improved to be more powerful, more efficient, and more fun to fly!
Improved with high-visibility paint, the Eflite T-28 Trojan 1.1m reaffirms its status as an excellent aircraft for inexperienced pilots who have mastered a beginner model and are looking for their first sport or warbird aircraft. It also offers interesting performance for experienced pilots who enjoy high-speed aerobatics! With a 3S 1800-2200mAh LiPo battery (not included), its power system, and its pre-tuned motor, it provides significant thrust and speed for less experienced pilots. You can also install a 4S battery for more speed and unlimited performance (not included)!
Four servos and linkages are installed to perform loops, rolls, inverted flight, and much more. The composite-reinforced EPO fuselage includes highly durable parts to withstand high speeds and advanced aerobatics, and for better overall durability. Final assembly is quick and easy, and the wings can be removed for even easier transport and storage. Any traditional RC airfield with paved, dirt, or grass surfaces is a suitable flying site, and experienced pilots can even fly in smaller spaces such as large parks or sport fields.
The T-28 is inherently stable, but the BNF Basic version, equipped with an AR631 receiver, offers intermediate and beginner pilots the added benefits of AS3X and optional SAFE Select stabilization technologies. Better yet, the ESC included with both versions is capable of providing real-time battery voltage, current, motor RPM, and other data via compatible receivers (including the AR631 included with the BNF Basic version) and transmitters equipped with AirWare. All of this adds up to enhanced sport flying capabilities, higher speed, and higher-energy aerobatics for a complete flying experience!
