Presentation of the Air Vrac vacuum pump

Hudy Air Vac is an ultra-compact and practical electric vacuum pump for shock absorbers of 1/8 off-road cars . It is developed to quickly and easily purge unwanted air bubbles from shock absorbers or hydraulic differentials .

The main deck is completely CNC machined from aluminum and includes interchangeable shock absorber/differential mounts and a clear plastic cover.

The powerful and efficient vacuum pump is powered by a 12V power supply or a 7.2V battery (not included). Includes shock absorber and differential mounts , 600mm connection cable with gold-plated banana plugs. Comes in a premium hardshell case for safe storage and transport.

Available in 3 different sizes for track , 1/10 off-road and 1/8 off-road.

Operation of the Air Vrac vacuum pump
  • Connect the vacuum pump to a 12V power supply (not included)
  • Fill shocks or differentials following standard procedures
  • Place them in the holes of the appropriate bracket
  • Place the cover in the groove provided for this purpose and check that the upper valve which is located above the Plexiglas cylinder is correctly screwed. - Apply light pressure to the cover to ensure better adhesion to the seal
  • Press and hold the start button until maximum vacuum is reached. Maximum vacuum will be indicated by a change in engine noise. (approximately 30 seconds)
  • Liquid oils will take less time, high viscosity oils will need a few seconds longer
  • Once the vacuum is complete, the upper valve located above the hood must be unscrewed
  • It is advisable to unscrew it gently, in order to avoid too rapid depressurization which could cause oil to be released from your shock absorbers or differential.
